Berry cute reproduction of the two classic, iconic Strawberry Shortcake dolls – Strawberry Shortcake and Huckleberry Pie with their pets!
This 80’s reissue Strawberry Shortcake doll set from 2016 includes four figurines, Strawberry Shortcake girl doll, her pet kitty cat Custard, friend Huckleberry Pie boy, and Pupcake, Huckleberry’s little puppy. Dolls have flat hands like the First Issue Strawberry Shortcake dolls and wear their classic outfits.
Strawberry Shortcake wears a pink ribbon in her hair instead of her classic poufy hat. Huckleberry Pie wears a straw hat made of fabric instead of the classic rubbery plastic hat.
Both dolls’ pets are exactly like their vintage versions.
There are three holes in the plastic on the front of the box so you can smell the dolls’ nostalgic berry scents without removing them from the box!
The back of the box shows classic images of Strawberry Shortcake and Huckleberry Pie that originally appeared on Valentine’s Day cards in the 80’s.
The message on the back of the box reads:
“Strawberry Shortcake and Huckleberry Pie have been berry good friends since 1980! This special collector’s set includes authentic reproductions of the original dolls from the 1980s – both with berry sweet scents!”
The back of the box is marked “2016 The Bridge Direct, Inc.”
These classic reissue dolls were only made for a short time before they were discontinued, so they’re sure to become even more collectible in the years to come.
