The message on the back of the box reads: “Strawberry Shortcake is the little girl with big possibilities from childhood past and present. For collectors and new fans alike, her sunny and optimistic personality make Strawberry Shortcake the perfect forever friend! This special reproduction of the original doll from the 1980s includes all the original details from hats to shoes – including their berry sweet scents!”
There are three holes in the plastic on the front of the box so you can smell her sweet blueberry scent without removing her from the box. A symbol on the front of the box says “The Original 1980’s Design!”
The box detail includes images of the classic doll as well as the classic logo. The large clear panel on the front lets you see the whole doll, so it’s perfect for displaying in the box.
The last two pictures show a comparison of 1980’s reissue doll side-by-side with the original Blueberry Muffin 1980’s doll. The reproduction version has a hat made of silky fabric instead of rubbery plastic, but she’s otherwise a spitting image of her classic version.
